Megan Kennedy is a multidisciplinary artist and writer based in Canberra, Australia. 

​

An interest in memory, communication, data, materiality, experience, process, chronic illness and incidental interventions has led her to experiment with a range of visual media. 

​

Megan holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Photomedia) and a Certificate IV in Photo Imaging. She also holds a Masters of Contemporary Art Practice undertaken at the Australian National University School of Art and Design.

Megan's work has been featured in numerous publications including Textiel MagazineSICK MagBait/Switch, Baby Teeth, SciArt Magazine, The Earth Issue, FAYD MagProduct Magazine and Polemical Zine. Her textile series The Airways won the Rainbow Prize at the 2021 Biblio Art Prize and she has contributed to the Everyday Climate Crisis Visual Petition presented to parliament in 2022. Megan won the 2025 Libris Awards Tertiary Artists' Book Prize, established by Artspace Mackay with her entry Hold Hands Spring Tide. She is also a participant in PIN X at ANCA.​
