Photo Diary #39

A black and white landscape depicting two short pipes puncturing the earth. Taken by Megan Kennedy
A black and white photograph of vines growing through the control joints of a path. Taken by Megan Kennedy

Taken: 11 April 2021

Canberra, Australia

Notes: Two pipes puncture cleared land allocated to the future growth of a nearby town centre. Their shadows mark 2:55:44 the afternoon. Growing from the control joints of a concrete pathway, a tracery of vines lengthen away from a central root network. Both of these landscapes detail a legacy of expansion.
