Surfaces like concrete and metal are durable and long-lasting, accumulating incidental markings over time. These markings tell a profound story about materiality, the urban landscape and our existence within a given environment. Strange and often beautiful, urban abstracts shift and evolve as living indicators of place, time and incidence.

It takes me a long time to get through a roll of film, but I got a few back today. I sourced the cameras on ebay - they were cheap disposables leftover from a wedding. The accompanying instructions paired with each camera read:
Use the camera on
the table to take
candid pictures of
all our friends and
family...the fun,
the special moments,
and of course those
not-to-be-forgotten shots
Pass the camera
around, let everyone
enjoy the fun.
When all the pictures are taken
just leave the camera
on the table
